MGUS is the pioneer operator of British high school and university preparatory courses opened by MG education and Septwolves Holdings Group Co., Ltd. in China. It is now a teaching centre and testing centre in Fujian Province certified by Oxford AQA and Pearson Edexcel Exam Boards. In 2019, it was awarded the Gold Medal Course Centre by Oxford AQA Exam Board, and only ten centres in China had this honour. In 2020, MGUS was rated as the Top 50 UK undergraduate students in the competitiveness ranking of China's international schools in 2020 by King Lead International Education, a well-known Chinese education evaluation institution.
